With work, freelancing, school and family, I haven’t had much time to write.  The Overneath Project is pretty much at a standstill right now.

I’d like to strike those remarks from the record, if I can…I can’t?  Oh, well.  Anyway, it’s more like I haven’t been forcing myself to make time to actually put ideas to paper lately.  The ideas keep flowing for the universe in which the stories take place, but I just haven’t felt like recording any new information.

One of the problems is I have a very poor handle on managing my time.  I don’t want to make excuses for this, but it has become abundantly apparent lately.

When I have nothing to do, I complain of boredom, and end up doing nothing about it.  When I finally start to get responsibilities, I often take on way too much, and subsequently burn out and do a poor job with everything.

I am working hard to try to change my outlook in this respect, but it hasn’t been easy, nor will it be easy in the future.  Here’s to hoping that I can get a burner under my backside and get going.
