Bat 2 - A bat that I drew while brainstorming for a long-forgotten story

Bat Prince - One of the drawings done during a college math class. This one in particular came from a short story written in my mind during a day dream.

Bat Bot - An enemy character created for an abandoned sci-fi project

Big Bad Wolf - A satanic werewolf design for a sci-fi/fantasy project. This is actually one of my favorite sketches.

Bird Head - A bird head drawn during Computer Logic class in High School. Reminds me of the word

Blur Clouds - I was experimenting to get a logo for a friend, and this is one of the designs that came out of it

Breaking Down the Wall - This was a symbolic sketch from High School. I can't remember which, but one girlfriend had said that in order for us to date, she would have to break down some major walls. This shows me breaking down said wall.

Burning Soul - I have always like this sketch. It was once the logo for Stroz.net, way back during it's origins.

Captain Teddy Bat Bear - This was an enemy design for a long forgotten sci-fi project.

Clown - A homicidal Clown

Coat of Arms Background - This is a nice background made up of the Coat of Arms that I had created sometime around the 5th Grade. I really like this design, and have decided to use it as my own personal symbol, as you can see around the site.

Corpse - This is a sketch that I did in art class in college. I kind of like the feeling you get from looking into its eyes.

Crystal Serpent from the Depths - This is a sketch that I did messing around with simple shapes and their illusion of depth when used correctly.

Damaged sLydE - Master sLydE was an alter ego of mine, as well as a character for a sci-fi project that was of course abandoned. This is one of many sketches of this persona that I have stored in this archive.

Deadly Silence - This is a sketch that I did during a down period in my life. I like the feel of emotion hidden in the person's face. Also, the dilated pupils in the eyes represent a side effect of one of the drugs I used to abuse.

Death Saber - I drew this while on a field visit trip in Ohio. It's like an evil lightsaber thing. Kinda dumb.

Death Tree - This is a particularly favorite sketch of mine. It shows a tree which was used to hang criminals in what I assume is the 1500-1600s. Why I assume this about my own sketch, I'm not sure.

Demon - A neat hooded demon. Just a sketch from a boring class.

Demon Head - A demon head. Kind of resembled a Cyberdemon at first, but I think I like it better as its own entity.

Dentist - Why fear the dentist? He doesn't look evil in any way. Notice the symbol on his ginormous belt buckle.

Dramamine Burn - This is a sketch that kinds of represents how you feel when taking Dramamine as a recreational drug.

Elder Alien - This is an Elder Alien concept for a sci-fi project. It's a wonder that this project didn't go anywhere, seeing all of the concept art that I have laying around.

Evil Cat - This is an evil cat. I used it as a logo on the stroz.net page way back when. There is probably more than one version in this archive.

Evil Cat 2 - Another Evil Cat. This one is particularly strange, with it's very long tail

Executioner - This is a winged executioner in full swing.

Eye 1 - For a while, I was very obsessed with sketching eyes. This is one of the first ones that I did. I guess it's really not that accurate, but I think it looks pretty good.

Eye 2 - Another Eye sketch. This one is slightly more realistic in some aspects, but retains a sort of alien quality to it. Not to mention the highly dilated pupil which shows up very often in my artwork.

Eye 3 - Another eye sketch. This one feels very bald and strange. This shows the constricted pupil inside of a white iris that shows up often in my artwork alongside the dilated pupil.

Flaming Skull - A flaming skull for a sci-fi concept. Note the rockets on either side of the skull, and the serpentine tongue.

Foot Clan - This is a sketch that I was working with when trying to create an evil version of the TMNT during a college art class. This is a foot soldier from the original comic book of the TMNT

God Emperor - A sketch of the God Emperor. There are few other Dune sketches in this archive.

'Good Doctor' Concept - This is a concept that was done in Photoshop for my video game concept turned novel 'The Good Doctor'. The eyes are very indicitive of my style, boasting the constricted and dilated pupil contrast seen in so many other pieces in my archive.

Hand Plant - This was a concept for a form of health in a sci-fi project.

Heartless Monkey - A monkey Heartless from the game 'Kingdom Hearts'.

Holiday on the Plateau - This is a sketch design that I did for a painting assignment in a college art class. I did do a painting of this, but had to change a few elements in order to fit with my inferior skills in the medium.

Human Computer ('Dimenxia' Concept) - This is a concept design for a human computer in my video game desing turned novel 'Dimenxia'.

McFlutterby - Don't ask me where the name came from. This is an odd character sketch, who uses his ears for flying like a butterfly.

Meanie - A Blue Meanie-like character.

Monsters of the Mind - A sketch and a poem. When the monsters of your mind begin to escape, nothing is sacred. All that is locked up and hidden away begins to unravel. Bring yourself to face these impulses, and you will be defeated. Look into the mirror, and what do you see? Is it yourself, or your mind's representation of all that you have experienced? Your appearance is altered from mind to mind of those who know you. When you encounter a stranger, your mind struggles to classify the experience with all that you know. Words on a page, paint on a canvas, or stars in the sky. All that you see is an illusion, all a lie. But what is truth? Who determines the line in which truth becomes lie? Or is there even a line? Existance is a state of mind. Our souls create all we see, hear, taste, feel and smell. A time consumer to fill the void of our space. Nothing is real, it's all in the mind.I particularly enjoy this piece. It reminds me of a time when my thoughts were much simpler, and how much work I've done on myself since I wrote this.

Mosaic 1 - This is a mosaic done using elements from various paintings, online art, and file footage (the monk burning) done for a college art class.

Mothman - A concept drawing for a character. This was actually not intended for use in any project that I had actually worked on, but was being saved for such a time that I could make use of him. The wings were dimmed out by the scanner, and are hard to see. Note the logo on the forehead of his cloak.

OKM Lower Body Detail - This is a detailed view of the body of an Organic Killing Machine from one of the further along sci-fi concepts that I had worked with.

Owl - A crazy owl staring directly into your face. Makes me laugh every time I see it.

Pain - Something I did after breaking up with a girlfriend in high school, after finding out she was cheating on me.

Pilot - A concept character to a sci-fi project. Crappy scanner.

Possessions - A very haunting sketch made during an art class. Even though it is a bit of a juvenile representation, it still creeps me out.

Psycho Skull - A sketch of a skull smoking a joint, and a rather dissapointed looking moon in the background.

R.I.P. - This was done during a college art class. I really don't remember what the 'JHL' stands for.

RAC Logo #1 - This is the basis logo that was used for all of the RAC logos.

Riddle Seal - This was a sketch that was done as a concept for a sci-fi project that never got off the ground. You can see the writing under the eye in many places throughout my gallery, as well as the Eye of Horus depiction.

Robot Skull - This was a concept sketch for one of the sci-fi projects of mine that never made it.

Rock Face - A face made out of rocks.

Rude Lawn Gnome - A rude lawn gnome.

School - This was a creepy image that came into my mind, and I had to get it in some medium. Photoshop was what I was learning at the time, so I naturally did it there.

Scream - This is one of my favorite sketches. It shows the struggle in us all to overcome the boundaries set by ourselves. We each have many faces, and each wants to fight for dominance, and eventually it stretches us to the point of no return.

Self 1 - This is a self portrait done in high school.

Shai Hulud - A sketch of Shai Hulud emerging from the sand. This was one of a few sketches where I used geometric figures to try to represent the image that I was going for.

Shiny Penguin-Faced Dog Boy - I really have no idea where this came from. I believe that I did it one day that I was in a very deep DXM trance. I have no idea about the name either, that's just what was written next to it.

Silent Longing - This is an image that was made in Photoshop when I was just learning the tools. I don't remember there being a story behind it though.

Skeleton Chair - This is a great piece of art depicting a skeleton demon sitting in a chair.

Skull Staff - A sketch of a flaming skull on the top of a staff. This was done during one of the periods of heavy DXM use in my life.

sLydE 1 - So begins the long series of sketches of sLydE. This one is clearly closer to myself than the other sci-fi/fantasy sketches. Note the hooded sweatshirt and beard.

sLydE 2 - sLydE sketch #2. This one is very similar to #1. Note the addition of the tatoos under the eyes.

sLydE 3 - This one is becoming more and more fantasy. As the hero of one of my unborn sci-fi/fantasy tales, he carries a large sword, similar to the Soul Reaver.

sLydE 4 - This sketch was to be used as the basis for a player character in one of my sci-fi games that got nowhere.

sLydE Face 4 - This is an interesting sketch of sLydE. You can see how my own personal image is creeping into the character. The tatoos and pupil sizes are common to these images.

Evil Chicken - This is one of four drawings done on a handout during my time in the Intensive Outpatient program. It is an evil chicken.

Paintball Soldier - Number two of four sketches done on a handout during my time in the Intensive Outpatient program. It's a soldier who's shooting a paintball gun.

Tread Totem - Number three of four sketches done on a handout during my time in the Intensive Outpatient program. The best way I can describe it is by saying that it's a totem on tank treads.

Rabbit Choke - Last of four sketches done on a handout while I was in the Intensive Outpatient program. This is a guy sitting against a wall choking a rabbit.
